Batting Cage Baseball

A simple little game we invented to keep batting practice interesting and competitive.

Each batter gets three innings. Each inning consists of one bucket of 18-36 baseballs. Runs are scored by hitting a ball in the air to the back wall of the batting cage. Bonus balls, where a ball is added back to the bucket for another swing, are given for each ball hit to the back wall on the ground. Balls that score a run are also considered bonus balls.

As always, if a person is feeding the machine by hand, we highly recommend a protective L screen be used. It is especially important in this game, as the hitter will intentionally be trying to hit balls up the middle.
