Spinball batting cages can be installed in topsoil with
no digging required! Cage is supported by stakes and anchors instead of
concrete piers. Rocky or harder ground may require digging to install
the stakes and anchors. Kits include elbow sections, pre-cut yellow
vinyl coated steel cables, net, and all clips, stakes, and anchors.
Batting cage kits require customer supplied top fence rail (1-3/8" diameter x 10'-6" long),
available from most hardware stores. 55' kits have 3 arches and require
9 pieces of fence rail. 70' kits have 4 arches and require 12 pieces of
fence rail. Supplying your own fence rail dramatically cuts shipping
costs.
Nets are made from #36 HDPE
with built-in UV stabilizers. HDPE (High Density PolyEthylene)
outperforms nylon for outdoor use. Nylon nets of the same gauge have
higher initial strength, but they typically do not weather as well as
HDPE. 3/8"
reinforcement ropes on perimeter, top edges, and down the middle of the
ceiling.
Frame kits are made to order - please
allow 1 week for fabrication.

Automatic Feeders with
Wireless Remote Control
New high capacity
(35 baseballs / 29 softballs) turret style autofeeders are now
available!
This new design holds more balls in a smaller space with an improved
tripod base. Balls may be laced or dimpled, but must be regulation
size. Release interval is fixed at 5 seconds. A free wireless on/off
remote
control
is included with all autofeeders.
Autofeeders include a flexible ramp that connects
directly to the
machine's ball feeder tube to ease alignment. Baseball and softball
versions use different size ramps. Combination autofeeders include both
ramps. Cricket machines use the baseball ramp.
Please note that the autofeeders will not work for balls
thrown upward
(slow pitch softball or fly balls) because balls are not fed with
enough momentum to roll up the machine's inclined ball feeder tube.

L Screens
Powder coated steel L screen features pillowcase style
net that slides over the top of the assembled frame. This design
provides two layers of protection between the pitcher and hitter, and
is much faster to install. Frame assembles with spring loaded buttons,
so you can take it apart for transport. Takes 3-4 minutes once you've
done it a few times. Screen measures 7' x 7' with a 3.5' x 3.5'
opening.

Baseballs and Softballs
For maximum accuracy and durability we recommend these
quality
balls from Bāden. Choose dimpled balls for maximum accuracy and
durability or Ballistic laced balls for the most realistic practice.
Ballistic balls feature low Kevlar seams for longer life and less wheel
wear than standard laced balls. Dimpled balls are available in plain
yellow or with recessed, painted seams. Featherlite dimpled foam balls
are lighter
and softer than standard dimpled balls and can be thrown at full speed
by adjusting the wheel distance on your machine. Big-Leaguer poly balls
(the ones
with holes) are great for practice in smaller locations but can't be
thrown full speed by a machine.
